Role Summary
To provide you with a quick snapshot of the role.
- Purpose: To help move the church in the direction we need to go by facilitating musical worship that draws our attention to Jesus and helps awaken and stir our desire for Him.
- Expectation: 42 hours a week, which includes special events, working Sunday-Thursday in an office/remote hybrid staff setting. We’re also willing to consider a strategic part-time agreement with the right candidate if that is what they prefer.
- Reports to: Lead Pastor
Candidate Profile

- You’re a follower of Jesus, mature in your faith, and live a life submitted to scripture, dependent and led by the Holy Spirit, with a heart for the church and for people.
- Your public worship ministry flows out of a private worship life.
- You can spiritually and practically lead a congregation in worship, maintaining a sensitivity to the Spirit.
- You understand that opportunities for congregational worship exist within the broader context of a gathering where we are seeking to exalt and encounter Jesus.
- You appreciate the difference between stewarding a window of worship and just running through a setlist of songs.
- You consider engagement to be a key indicator of how congregational worship is going or has gone.
- You are willing to be vulnerable with, and trust, the staff team and engage in healthy communication.
- You prioritize the success of the staff team above personal achievement.
- You care about and contribute to organizational and team health.
